Hiro Lida a.k.a. Nobuhiro Lida
Like many, Hiro Lida started in rental Manga (1959) and later made the transition to the well-known
mangazines. He did his best work on Anime screenplays or under the supervision of others. For example,
he drew Mirrorman & Primitive Boy Ryu and was an assistant to Hisashi Sekiya, Takashi Yamada and
Shotaro Ishimori (Primitive Boy Ryu)
His drawing style was influenced by Shinji Nagashima and Noboru Kawasaki.
Despite much praise and appreciation for his work, the great success of his own series stayed out and he
will go down in history as the assistant of …
His original artwork, on the other hand, now, 50 years after its publication, is rightly appreciated and
finds its way into many Shõnen collections
